AitR™ GB-rd – Captured Speaker IR-Profile
The AitR™ GB-rd Virtual Speaker is based on a Celestion® G12 Vintage Rock Driver speaker with a GreenBack magnet. This AitR™ variant is aged and – over the years – we (the guys from AitR™) have used it with great pleasure during many gigs (in a Vintage Huges & Kettner® 2×12 cabinet). Because this speaker has been widely used at high volumes, this speaker is naturally ‘broken in’. Therefore the character of this speaker has a considerable warm “thumb”, whereby high (harness) tones are smoothly suppressed. The AitR™ GB-rd is very suitable for (classic) rock and also comes alive when producing warm jazzy (clean) tones.
